Lynn Horton had put off this one final duty as long as she possibly could, but she had to fly back to Atlanta soon or risk losing her job, and there was simply no one else to sort through Joe Dawson’s personal effects. His will named her executor and next-of-kin as he had no living children of his own, just her, his niece, his sister’s daughter with an old family friend, James Horton.
